Selling a spike without guessing the top

When a coin shoots up, the question is always when to sell. Selling in small, fixed slices on the way up means you never have to answer it. A worked example, three possible endings, and how to size the slices.

Pick a side of the moving average

Aurono Start can now hold back buys, sells or both until the price is on the side of its moving average you choose. Why the default buys below the trend and sells above it, and when the opposite makes sense.

The month my rules started saving euros

Through the bear market I kept topping up my strategies and the rules kept spending those euros on dips. In September the direction flipped: for the first time, the rules sold more than they bought. What that means for buying the next dip.

Let your AI review the rules you write

In Aurono, your own rules place your trades. What the latest release adds is a download of every strategy, result and decision for the AI tool you choose, with a prompt that asks the AI to judge your rules instead of your luck.

What a relief rally is good for

SUI fell 62% in the year after the October 2025 crash. Replayed on real prices, a dip-buying rule that sells everything on the first rally above its average cost closed six rounds in profit along the way. With too little cash, the same rule got stuck after one round.

What RSI actually measures (and why 30/70 isn't a law of nature)

RSI reads momentum, not price: what the number is built from, why 30 and 70 became the default, and the one thing it can never tell you on its own.

Your decision was right. The outcome wasn't.

Annie Duke's Thinking in Bets calls it resulting: judging a decision by how it turned out, not how the decision was made. Another gem: once one branch of the tree becomes reality, the others disappear too, taking with them the context you'd need to judge yourself fairly.

The best decision maker is a model of you

Daniel Kahneman's Noise studies judges, doctors, and insurance underwriters, and keeps landing on the same finding: a simple model of your own past decisions usually beats you making the call live. That's the whole argument for rules, and it goes well beyond trading.

Locking in profit while the price falls

Over three weeks ONDO fell more than 20%. A patient Aurono Start strategy still ended the window net positive - because its average cost base followed the price down, and a few guardrails kept it from ever selling at a loss.

The friend-group tip I didn't have to chase

Someone in our crypto chat is bullish on a coin. I used to open TradingView and try to time the entry - stressful, often wrong. Now I run it through the Lab and let the rule do the entering.

Patience, then harvest: a NEAR case study

A real Aurono Start strategy on NEAR waited for price to cross its ACB, then captured eight trades across twelve days of volatility - every sell near a local peak, every buy near a local trough.

DCA is the floor, not the ceiling

Dollar-cost averaging is the right answer for most people, most of the time. Here's the question it can't quite answer.
